Kindness Made Audible
When we are at the threshold of the end of life, the sense of hearing is the last to go. The Threshold Choirs were established internationally to offer gentle songs of peace, comfort, and caring during the last days before leaving this life. The inspirational, secular songs were composed by the founders and are a cappella in 2 or 3-part harmony. When invited, we send index to five singers who offer soft, simple, restful songs to support those during this important time, as well as for their caregivers and families.
Who We Serve
The Greater Hartford Threshold Choir currently sings at the bedside of patients in hospice care, at long-term facilities, and in private homes.
